At Brechon Dental, we strive to ensure that every patient has a healthy and beautiful smile. One way we do this is by providing comprehensive exams of your mouth to pinpoint issues and prevent them from developing.
There is no set number of how many exams you should have, but it is a good idea to schedule an appointment with your Brechon Dental professional at least two times each year. Getting an exam done biannually prevents bacteria from building up and can save you from dealing with oral health issues that develop due to a lack of dental care.
When you visit the office, you can expect excellent service and a friendly smile as soon as you enter. During a dental exam, we will assess your teeth and their health to make sure you are caring for them properly outside of our office. They will then be cleaned so that stains and tartar are removed from the mouth and teeth can shine. Once this is done, a fluoride treatment may be applied to strengthen your enamel and keep your teeth healthy.
Patients that regularly get dental exams are at a huge advantage. Just by visiting the dentist more often, you will have much better oral health than someone who does not. Oral exams help dentists pinpoint potential problem areas and provide preventative or early treatment. Cleanings get rid of harmful bacteria and plaque along with tartar that can cause gum disease, decay, and other issues. Your teeth will be healthier, stronger, and more beautiful.
If you would like to speak to a dentist about how you can protect your teeth starting in the home, call our office. We have representatives available that can answer any questions you may have and give you more insight into caring for your oral health. You should still schedule an appointment in our office at least twice a year for an exam and a thorough cleaning for your teeth.
